lol. im a grade 8 ref and i asked a grade 4 about this play. he and i both agreed that it is in fact offsides. according to the 2008 and 2009 rule book it is.
but whatever. netherlands did a great job anyway. they deserved that win.

According to the fifa rules its onside, but fifa after reviewing it said revisions should be made for situations like this. But yes as of game time on that day it is legit.

i don’t really know the rules in this specific case,but it looks like is offside since everybody says so.anyway would have be gentle to put the ball off since he has been there for a while

brrutus93 u idiot he is onside becuse the guy is still playing and on the other team. and you say he is offside because he is off the pichs so how is people never offside from corners because thee are men on goal line or behined goal line who are not on the pitch
